Love, love, love my Mojos! I am a big girl, and they have made all the difference in the world for me. Just grippy enough in the corners, and super manuverable because of the narrow profile.
I've been skating on the Radar Flat-Outs for over half a year. I find they help me not to slide out on corners (which I do alot). I do like them alot, but since they are getting worn out, I am going to try the Radar Mojos. Apparently, they are alot like the Flat-Outs, but are even better on corners and lateral movement in general.
i realize you left this a llllooong time ago but i just got some new wheels and i thought i would share in case you wanted to try something else...i have the Answer Atoms, and the Answer Omegas on my skates, and can i just say: I LLLLLLOOOOVE THEM!!! I have all the control of both worlds cuz the grip on the atoms is 95A and the omegas are 93A grip! I feel like i have total control of my skates and since i am a lighter weight Jammer, I don't feel like I'm gonna fly right off the track due to speed! So there you have it in a nutshell...i think you will like the Answers for their versatility as well, for a lot of surfaces! Enjoy!! Sarin Gasp!
If you need a aluminum hub ,cannibals are a great wheel been around for some time, also I have been skating on my red power plus since 1999. They have seen many different surfaces and have held on evey one of them. I just bought the new stroker wheels and tried them last night on a concrete floor Sweeet. They held that dirty floor all night. Sunday I will try a wood floor. But it does have a nylon hub and I am 250lbs but I still flew like the wind.
I would be very carefull of the fugitive I know a skater that has blown out two sets of hubs and she is not a curvy lady. When it comes to your skates save your pennies and buy the best. It does affect the way you skate, just as a pair of shoes that hurt your feet affects the way you walk.
Keep Skating,
Wheeler Dealer
ha ha hah flew like the wind!!! I could see the wind in your hair Wheeler...those wheels shoulda come with a pair of "go fast glasses!!!" hee hee ...Loves, Sarin
I just got a pair of atom strokers and they are incredible! They are grippy but still give you speed, especially paired with bones reds. And they are smooth like butter, no joke. They are pricey, but you get what you pay for. The best wheel out there in my opinion. I would for sure splurge on these. They rock!
I like the Radar Tuners (in Pink, which is the mid-grippy, since they color code). They worked really well on our old rink which was polished wood floors and they are awesome on our new floor which is painted/polished concrete. Seem to be a good wheel for all-around surface use.
